modern, ancient & medieval art
Denny Staschitz advises on the creation and expansion of collections, as well as on the attribution of individual objects. His areas of focus include ancient sculpture, European medieval sculpture, Italian painting from the Gothic and early Renaissance periods, as well as Expressionism and Italian Futurism. In close collaboration with restorers and art historians, he oversees research into potential new discoveries, organizes analyses, and promotes scientific publications. When verifying existing attributions, as well as in restoration and conservation, we always work closely with specialists.

the private art collection
A private art collection is an expression of taste, refinement, and timeless enthusiasm. Denny Staschitz combines his passion, experience, and intuition for exceptional works of modern, ancient, and medieval art in his collection, offering advice to his clients in these areas. For Denny, it is especially important that a private collection remains personal and is never driven by the spirit of the times. It is crucial to take the time to discover one’s own taste and preferences, independent of current trends—a process that can often take years.
collecting only the best
A collection—whether public, institutional, or private— can achieve long-term success primarily by prioritizing the highest quality of its objects. The number of artworks is irrelevant if the level of quality is not maintained. This forms one of the most important cornerstones of any collection. While the spirit of the times and taste change from decade to decade, works of outstanding quality remain consistently attractive and worthwhile—both for visitors, researchers, and collectors alike.
